Mission Statement

Big Hearts in Little Hands ministry is designed to support children from 1st grade to 8th grade with special needs including but not limited to learning, communication, social, physical, and sensory differences.  To fully include children with special needs and their families in the life of the church.  To ensure a safe, loving, and accepting environment to learn about God and the Bible and to support each child with consistent buddy helpers to promote his or her participation in children’s ministry.

Belief Statement

We Believe that God created each child according to His perfect design (Psalms 139: 13-14) We Know that our church is one body comprised of many parts, and that each part has purpose and worth (1 Corinthians 12: 12-18).  We believe that each child brings value to the church body, and we actively seek to include all children in the children’s ministry at True Vine Ministries World Outreach Fellowship Church.

Our Goal

The Big Hearts in Little Hands Goal is to help children with physical, mental and developmental differences grow in understanding of God’s great love, while reaching out to parents who would like to become part of a church family.  TVM understands the unique challenges of caring for a child with special needs and we desire to support you as your child grows in Christ your family will find a warm, welcoming atmosphere with trained teachers that will give your child caring , personal attention.  To love people where they are and liberating the world with the Love of Christ.

Qualifications:
Must have a heart and passion to work with children who have special needs
Must complete a background check and pass
Must complete CPR, First Aid, and AED Training
Must complete NCI Training and Person Centered Thinking Training
You must be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit
Must also possess patience, the skill to affirm, encourage and uplift children with special needs.
