BAHAMA LOOP

We are a community church that serves individuals and families in differing ways which now includes owning and operating a transitional home to further service individuals and families in our local community called the Bahama Loop Transitional Home. Bahama Loop is a three-bedroom, 2-bathroom single family home situated in a thriving neighborhood. Bahama Loop serves as a supportive, yet temporary home accommodation that is meant to bridge the gap from homelessness to permanent housing by offering structure, supervision, support, and in some cases, education and training.

Bahama Loop is an intermediate step between emergency crisis shelter and permanent housing. It is more long-term than an emergency shelter yet remains time-limited to stays of 6 months to one year with affordable rent options. It is meant to provide a safe, supportive environment where residents can overcome trauma, begin to address the issues that led to homelessness or kept them homeless, and begin to rebuild their support network.”

Bahama Loop Transitional Home does not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, age, familial status, ancestry, unfavorable military discharge, marital status, receipt of governmental assistance, or handicap.
